This one certainly made me smile! As my husband stated, "Look what people were able to do in the days before the internet!". I think he's correct in thinking that the internet and television suck a terrible amount of our creative energies away. Something to think about... what could you accomplish if you weren't reading this blog, for example. What could I accomplish if I weren't writing it?? Hmmm....

Yes, he's right. BUT, the internet fits in today's lifestyle in one way. Most of us work outside the home. By the time you work, take care of your home and your family, it doesn't always leave a lot of time to socialize. At least we can do a little of that and "know" friends we wouldn't otherwise know exist.
There is a lot to be said for the before and the now!
